At 21:03 on Wednesday, 21 June, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Telford.

3 fire appliances including the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This Incident was a false alarm with good intent as the dog did not require rescuing
