At 14:25 on Wednesday, 9 August, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Gas Leak in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Also at the scene of the incident were: a utility company.

One main line gas pipe ruptured due to workers using a JCB. Gas board have isolated the leak, and incident has been left with the Gas board.
