At 16:36 on Tuesday, 12 September, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Shrewsbury.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Air Ambulance, the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Road traffic collision involving one large goods vehicle and 1 4x4 vehicle. One person released from large goods vehicle using holmatro cutting equipment, and taken to hospital via land ambulance.
