At 16:14 on Friday, 9 February, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Wellington .

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

  • Breathing Apparatus (BA)
  • Covering jet
  • Hosereel jet
  • Positive Pressure Ventilation
  • Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Fire involving chip pan in first floor communal kitchen, four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, one covering jet, positive pressure ventilation fan and thermal image camera in use. All persons accounted for.
