At 13:22 on Sunday, 11 February, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Oswestry.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere and Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving textiles left on a hob. Fire was extinguished by Fire Service personnel who gained entry via a window at the rear of the property.
