At 10:54 on Sunday, 25 February, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shifnal.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Albrighton and Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This Incident was a false alarm caused by a blown turbo on vehicle
