At 20:09 on Thursday, 19 April, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Claverley.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Bridgnorth.

False alarm raised with good intent - incident turned out to be a controlled burn with responsible persons in attendance.
