2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wem and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving metal shed approximately 6m x 6m. Shed 100% destroyed by fire.

Property Fire

At 21:20 on Friday, 19 April, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Oxygen first aid
• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Fire in kitchen on ground floor of terraced property. Crews used 2 hosreel jets and 1 covering jet whilst using breathing apparatus. Positive pressure ventilation used to ventilate the property. Casualty in care of ambulance crews.

Barn Fire

At 19:06 on Friday, 19 April, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Barn Fire in Shrewsbury.

3 fire appliances including the Light Pumping Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Baschurch and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Short extension ladder
• Small gear

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

Derelict agricultural barn involved in fire. Crews used 2 hosereel jets to extinguish the fire whilst wearing breathing apparatus. Crews currently cutting away and damping down prior to leaving incident.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Tweedale. Operations and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police and a utility company.

Property fire extinguished by fire crews using a hosereel jet and a covering jet. Electrics to property have been isolated by Western Power. Incident has been left with Police and Western Power.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet

Incident involved a shed fire which had spread to a double garage, crews used 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets and 1 covering jet to extinguish the fire. Neighboring properties were also checked for fire damage.
