1) How many times was the Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service called out to lift/elevator-related incidents in 2023? (1st Jan-31st Dec) 

1a) How many of these total call outs required the fire service to rescue, or help to rescue, one or more parties stuck in a lift/elevator?

1b) How many of these total call outs were deemed as an emergency by the fire service?

1c) How many of these total call outs were deemed as a non-emergency by the fire service?

Please could you provide the follow:

1) Your "Airwave" National Identification Code.

- For Example- For your colleagues in South Wales Fire & Rescue Service, it is:

- WS (Identifies the service) 01 (Station Number) P (Appliance Type - Pump) 1 (Allocated Number)

2) How many officers (from Station Commander to CFO) who are currently employed by SFRS.

- If possible, are you able to give me some statistics of officers that were employed from around 2016 to current. I.e. 36 Station Commanders in 2016, 53 Station Commanders in 2023.

Under the Freedom of Information Act/Environmental Information Regulations,
I would like to request the following information:

1. How may fires have your Service attended which involved electric or Hybrid
vehicles powered by lithium-ion batteries between the following dates 1/1/21
– 1/11/23?

2. Of these fires attended in how many of these was the cause recorded as a
fault on the lithium-ion battery?

3. Of the fires attended how many involved the lithium battery cells?

the residents of Montford and Shrawardine have road safety concerns regarding the junctions at Montford Bridge and Shrawardine on the A5, due to the amount of incidents we are having. We have therefore arranged a meeting with National Highways, Shropshire Council and the local Police to discuss this section of road and potential safety measures that could be put in place. What would be really useful for the meeting would be the statistics of the amount of incidents Shropshire Fire & Rescue have attended on Montford Bridge and Shrawardine junction on the A5.

We would like to investigate whether there has been an increase in fires caused by items that contain batteries (including lithum-ion batteries). For instance, toys, laptops, electric toothbrushes etc.

Therefore, under Freedom of Information Act and Environmental Information Regulations, I would like to request the following information:

-The number of household fires caused (or thought to be caused) by items containing batteries from 01.01.2021 to 31.12.2021
