2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Prees, Wellington and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Incident involved saloon car in to building. Fire crews removed car from foyer of pub using tirfor and made vehicle safe

At 01:42 on Sunday, 28 June, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Barn Fire in Prees Lower Heath.

5 fire appliances including the Light Pumping Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Baschurch, Hodnet, Oswestry, Prees, Shrewsbury, Wellington and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Main jet

Fire involving approximately 30 tonnes of hay, straw and several items of various farm machinery within an agricultural building. Dragging out and damping down in progress.
