3 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere, Wem and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire in flat caused by unattended cooking. Fire extinguished using a hosereel jet and covering jet.

Also at the scene of the incident were: a utility company.

This incident was a power surge causing loss of power to several houses. Fire crews used thermal imaging camera in all affected properties. Scottish Power attending to deal with incident.
