At 21:51 on Sunday, 12 June, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Newport.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Newport.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving 30 fence panels. Crews used 1 Hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
