At 17:20 on Saturday, 22 July, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as AFA in Oswestry.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

This incident was a false alarm due to low battery on carbon monoxide alarm. Full internal inspection carried out using thermal imaging camera with nothing found.
