At 11:54 on Wednesday, 18 October, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere and Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Reports of alarms sounding with sightings of smoke- this incident was a false alarm with good intent, alarm caused by steam from the central heating system
