At 05:50 on Thursday, 16 November, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Oswestry.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere and Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Dry powder extinguisher
• Positive Pressure Ventilation
• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Crews extinguished fire using 2 breathing apparatus and dry powder extinguisher. Crews carried out thorough inspection of school.
