At 19:50 on Saturday, 20 January, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Chimney rods
• Short extension ladder
• Thermal imaging camera

Chimney fire above an open fire caused by the chimney being blocked by a bird's next. Suitable advice given.
