At 01:28 on Monday, 22 July, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Tweedale.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

Incident involved domestic waste set alight. Crews extinguished using 2 hosereel jets and drag rakes.
