At 07:55 on Tuesday, 20 August, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington.

This incident was found to be a false alarm due to steam activating the alarm.
