At 20:10 on Wednesday, 21 August, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Bonfire in back garden which has got out of control. Crews extinguished using 1 hose reel jet and drag rakes.
