At 12:56 on Thursday, 17 October, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Montgomery.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Bishops Castle and Craven Arms. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Incident involved one HGV which had left the carriageway, no persons trapped and crews investigating possible fuel leak.
