At 11:55 on Thursday, 14 November, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Shrewsbury.

4 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Chimney rods

Chimney fire within property. Crews used chimney rods and the Aerial Ladder Platform to extinguish and ventilated property.
