At 14:56 on Sunday, 17 November, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Water Rescue in Jackfield footbridge, Ironbridge .

4 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury, Telford Central and Tweedale.

Report of woman threatening to jump into water. On arrival Fire Service assistance was not required.
