At 10:25 on Monday, 7 April, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Wellington.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was a false alarm caused by a system fault. Crews carried out thorough investigation.
