At 23:54 on Saturday, 12 April, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington. A Fire Investigation officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks
• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire in the open that had spread to two demountable caravan buildings.
