At 16:45 on Friday, 25 April, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

Crews rescued one dog using rope rescue equipment, which had fallen down embankment.
