At 10:35 on Friday, 9 May, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smell Of Burning in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was a false alarm caused by cooking fumes. No action required by Fire service Personnel.
