At 16:00 on Monday, 12 May, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving clothing left on hob of cooker. Crews extinguished using 1 hose reel jet, 1 covering jet and 2 breathing apparatus. Positive pressure ventilation used to clear smoke and thermal image camera used to check for hotspots.
