At 15:35 on Thursday, 19 June, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shifnal.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Albrighton.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Fire involving grass on side of road approximately 2m x 2m. Crews extinguished using 1 hose reel jet.
