At 08:05 on Friday, 4 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Small amount of smoke issuing from grass verge and conifer trees. Crews damped down with one hose reel jet.
