At 11:25 on Thursday, 7 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as AFA in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was found to be a false alarm due to tests being carried out on site.
