At 11:21 on Monday, 22 September, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as AFA in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

This incident was a false alarm caused by system fault.
