At 18:50 on Friday, 31 October, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA in Ludlow.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Craven Arms and Ludlow. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Reports of smoke alarm activation in residential property which proved to be a false alarm due cooking fumes. Fire crews ventilated property and used thermal image camera
