At 00:53 on Sunday, 14 December, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

False alarm due to fumes from spilled food on hob. Fire service crew checked premises with thermal image camera and ventilated property.
