At 18:25 on Friday, 16 January, 2026, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Minsterley and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

One electric Aga switch within kitchen involved in fire. Electric switch has been isolated and advice given to occupiers.
