At 16:35 on Tuesday, 20 January, 2026, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Flood Affecting Electrics in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

• Small gear

Incident within domestic property involving burst water pipe which had caused flooding and affected the electrics. Crews have isolated the water and electrics were already isolated prior to fire service arrival. Fire service personnel have assisted occupiers to clear some of the flooding within the property prior to an engineer arriving.
