At 19:18 on Sunday, 14 September, 2014, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Oswestry.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving rubbish in rear garden - fire out on arrival of Fire Service. Thermal Image Camera in use to check for hot spots.
