At 10:29 on Thursday, 13 August, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Persons Trapped In Machine in Whitchurch.

4 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Prees, Wellington and Wem. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

• Electric Saws/Cutters

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Air Ambulance and the Land Ambulance Service .

1 male released from bailing spike by fire service personnel using stihl saw from Rescue Tender. Casualty now being taken to hospital via air ambulance
