Crews were called to assist Ambulance with the rescue and recovery of a male who was injured on the Wrekin. The casualty had been thrown from his vehicle and both he and the vehicle were in a precarious position. Crews used dragon lighting from the Rescue Tender along with line safety and other specialist rescue equipment to rescue the man who was treated by ambulance personnel. Hazardous Area Rescue Team (HART) were also in attendance.
