At 11:50 on Wednesday, 8 June, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Approximately 20sqm of grass, hedge and rubbish alight.
