At 12:51 on Thursday, 20 April, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as AFA in Wem.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Prees and Wem. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

Smoke coming from heater. Small gear in use.
