At 17:15 on Monday, 21 May, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Edstaston, Wem.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Prees and Whitchurch.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

Fire involving large quantity of manure and straw.
