At 22:03 on Thursday, 7 February, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Chimney rods
• Small gear
• Stirrup pump
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident was a chimney fire involving a log burner, crews used chimney rods and thermal image camera, re-inspection to take place later
