At 11:58 on Friday, 15 March, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Barn Fire in Market Drayton.

7 fire appliances including the Heavy Pumping Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised. Operations and Safety officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet

Fire involving one agricultural building measuring 10 metres by 5 metres, containing hay bales. Crews using two hose reel jets to extinguish.
