At 08:22 on Thursday, 8 August, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Incident involving fire in the engine compartment of a private saloon vehicle. 1 Hose Reel Jet and 2 Breathing Apparatus used to extinguish the fire.
