At 05:18 on Thursday, 22 August, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA in Ludlow.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Craven Arms and Ludlow.

This incident was a false alarm caused by steam from a kettle activating smoke detector.
