At 14:13 on Sunday, 10 May, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

Reports of a smell of burning and an automatic fire alarm sounding. Full search carried out using thermal imaging camera and no hotspots found. Alarm activated due to electrical fault. Electrician attended and isolated electrics.
