At 08:55 on Thursday, 24 September, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Newport.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Newport, Telford and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Reports of road traffic collision with persons trapped. Incident involved single vehicle road traffic collision which involved one taxi. No persons were trapped . Fire crews made vehicle safe. Police and ambulance in attendance.
