At 00:36 on Saturday, 17 October, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Water Rescue in Telford.

5 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit and the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Shrewsbury, Tweedale and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

• 9/10.5m ladder

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

One 26yr old male rescued from water by water first responders, using 9m ladder. Casualty transported to hospital via land Ambulance.
