At 20:06 on Thursday, 19 November, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Church Stretton.

5 fire appliances including the Pinzgauer and the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Church Stretton, Craven Arms and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

• 9/10.5m ladder
• Cutters/Spreaders
• Small gear
• Winches

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

This incident involved a one vehicle RTC with vehicle down an embankment and one person trapped. Crews used holmatro cutting equipment to extricate one person from vehicle. Casualty now in care of ambulance service.
