1. How many Aerial Appliances Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service have in their fleet
SFRS have 2 Aerial Lift Platforms (ALP) within our fleet.
2. Make and model of these Aerial Appliances E.G. Bronto Skylift F 32 HDT
Both appliances are fitted with the Bronto Skylift F32 HDT.
3. What fire stations operate these Aerial Appliances
SFRS have one ALP appliance operated from Telford Central and one ALP appliance operated from Shrewsbury.
4. Age of these Aerial Appliances
The ALP operated from TC was first registered 1997. The ALP operated from SY was first registered 2004.
5. Any plans to dispose, replace or buy new Aerial Appliances
There are currently no plans to dispose of either appliance. There are currently no plans to replace or add similar vehicles to the fleet.
